HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR AIM IN FORTNITE
( PART ONE )

Good aim is very important if you want to be successful in Fortnite Battle Royale. Here are some tips on how to improve your aim in Fortnite.

1. Effective Weapon Use
Each weapon in Fortnite has it's own use. What weapon you use can make a huge difference in the game. In different situations, you need to figure out which weapon is more effective. Shotguns are great in close range battles while assault rifles are effective in medium range and snipers are useful in long ranged kills.

2.When To Use First Shot Accuracy
Everybody uses the first shot accuracy but some people don't know when to use it. When you're at a long distance from your opponent, first shot accuracy can help you hit more shots. But when you're firing at someone close to you, you could even hit the target without relying on it. First shot accuracy does improve your aim but I recommend only using it when you're 100 meters plus away from your opponent.

3. Headshots Or Bodyshots
Headshots definitely deal more damage to the opponent. But can you land them first? At medium to long distances, it's often better to go for the bodyshot. It is because the opponent is smaller and chances of landing a headshot is lower, and bodyshots can at least deal some damage. But if your opponent is standing still or close to you, go for the headshot. It won't be too hard to hit your opponent in those situations. But when your opponent is gliding or jumping around, the body becomes an easier target to hit.

4. Right Side Peeking
When in a fight, it's better to peek from the right side. Our characters hold the weapons to the right, so peeking on the right side allows us to shoot sooner without revealing much of your body for the opponent to shoot at.

5. Crosshair Placement
This is very important. You got to put your crosshair where you can shoot your opponent even when you're unprepared. For example if you are expecting an opponent in a house, make sure to place your crosshair at head level so you can land your shots sooner and more accurate. Never look down as it will take some time to adjust your crosshair at a position to fire at your opponents, and by then your opponent probably has already gotten a few shots on you. When editing a wall you have to make sure your crosshair is on your opponent so you can fire right after the wall is edited.

6. Taking Your Time
There are two weapons that are effective if you take your time to aim at the opponent: Shotguns and Snipers. Not taking your time will only lead to big punishment. Some people try to do flick shots with the shotguns but most end up missing. By missing, not only do they give out their spot, but also gives an opponent time to hit their shots at you. So waiting for the right moment to fire can help you a lot.
